The Greater Gadsden Housing Authority (GGHA) is currently revising its annual plan. The annual plan provides details about the agency’s immediate operations, program participant requirements, programs and services. The annual plan also outlines this agency’s strategy for handling operational concerns, physical improvements, resident concerns and needs, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year, which is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. The Annual Plan and supporting documents including all policies are available for inspection by the public, public housing residents and Section 8 participants on the GGHA WEB site (www.ggha.org), at 422 Chestnut Street, Gadsden, Alabama, which is the main office of the GGHA and at each Rental Office. The documents may be reviewed by appointment in the main office between the hours of 7:30 am to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Residents may also review the documents in their Rental Office by appointment during normal business hours for each Rental Office. Comments on the Annual Plan of the GGHA are encouraged and solicited. Any person that reviews the plans and has comments or recommendations must submit their comments, in writing, to the Greater Gadsden Housing Authority; P. O. Box 1219, Gadsden, Alabama 35902-1219. The GGHA must receive comments no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2023. Also, there will be a Public Hearing held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 4:30 pm at Gateway Village Community Building, located at 1319 Walnut Street to review the Annual plan of the GGHA. Also, any comments submitted prior to the public hearing and/or suggestions made at the public hearing will be considered by the GGHA for inclusion into the Annual plan.
NOTE: The Five-Year Plan is not being revised at this time.
