New Trash Service & Pick-Up

NOTICE!!!!!

ALL RESIDENTS OF THE GGHA

The GGHA has partnered with the City of Gadsden Public Works to takeover weekly trash removal services at all Public Housing communities beginning July 3, 2023. In order to avoid a disruption in service, please make sure that you have your trash can out and ready for pick up as normal. Due to the upcoming holiday the week of July 3rd, the City of Gadsden Public Works will pick up on Thursday, July 6th. Beginning the week of July 10th, the normal trash pick up day will be on Wednesday. You will continue using the same trash can that you have now. For questions about trash service, repairs to your cans, service issues including your trash not being picked up, etc., please contact Gadsden Public Works at 256-549-4703. All special needs requests will also be going through Gadsden Public Works. Holidays for the remainder of the 2023 year will be Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Please do not call the Maintenance Department or Central Office for questions or requests for trash service.
